About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assembly Technician to join our team at Aeropeople Limited. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for the assembly, repair, and modification of products from Line Replaceable Units through to Radar systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble, repair, and modify products to meet quality and safety standards
  • Use business systems and processes to record and evidence compliance
  • Assist and support the development of other personnel
Requirements
  • Formal qualification in electrical assembly workmanship standards or relevant experience
  • Awareness and working understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001
  • Ability to perform complex assembly, disassembly, or modification of electromechanical subassemblies and Radar systems
  • Work to close tolerances accurately with attention to detail to ensure consistent quality is maintained
  • Prototyping capability utilising limited data and documentation to support 1st off build and able to provide clear and accurate feedback for product, process development
  • Experienced in reading and interpreting technical drawing, wiring schedules, and circuit diagrams
