ACS Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled Finance Operations Specialist to join our esteemed finance team. The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in financial operations within a professional services environment.


Key Responsibilities:

The role encompasses a variety of financial functions essential for the efficient operation of the department, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies.

  • Conducting reconciliations of client and business bank accounts.
  • Managing the banking of client and business receipts, as well as processing payments, primarily through electronic systems.
  • Performing bank reconciliations and addressing outstanding cheques.
  • Monitoring electronic payment systems throughout the day (including CHAPS, BACs, FPC).
  • Verifying completions and executing CHAPS transactions and other electronic payments in accordance with company protocols.
  • Identifying, allocating, and recording incoming electronic and manual receipts.
  • Handling the banking of business and client account receipts.
  • Processing credit and debit card transactions.
  • Managing petty cash transactions and performing reconciliations.
  • Executing filing and general administrative tasks on a daily basis.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations.
  • Undertaking additional responsibilities as required to support the finance department's operations.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a financial operations role within a professional services setting.
  • Current knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Strong communication skills, particularly over the phone.
  • Familiarity with financial management software.
