Senior Frontend Developer for Gaming Platforms

MyWork is an established leader in the gaming industry, employing circa 80 people across multiple continents and 30 within the UK. We specialize in cross-platform software development, building bespoke innovative products for gaming platforms such as eGaming and mobile gaming online casinos/gambling. Due to year-on-year growth, we are actively seeking an experienced Senior Frontend HTML5 Gaming Developer to take ownership of and translate business requirements into technical solutions and to lead in the development of our innovative bespoke applications. You will have the ability to work as a part of a team responsible for the development of casino slot games, liaising with the creative department to ensure that what you deliver is optimal, on-time, and defect-free. You will collaborate with designers and other developers to ensure that games are performant within our platform and operable on all platforms, mobile and desktop. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience working within HTML5 and TypeScript in a mobile and desktop environment, experience with PixiJS, Phaser, or other JavaScript gaming/animation frameworks, and proficient knowledge of animation techniques using WebGL or Canvas 2D APIs. Solid experience working with GIT is also required. Nice-to-have skills include knowledge of CSS, Post CSS, and SASS/SCSS, CSS frameworks (TailwindCSS, Bootstrap), and responsive design techniques. Ideally, a maths, statistics, or physics educational background or 3D development experience would be beneficial. Excellent knowledge of platform-specific and cross-platform capabilities and constraints is essential. Experience with JavaScript build tools (Gulp, Vite, Rollup) is also desirable. Great communication skills as a core member of an internationally based team are a must.
