Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial team at MWH Treatment. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage commercial aspects of projects, including quantity surveying duties and cost control.
  • Liaise with design, construction, and supply chain teams to ensure business requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with clients to ensure their needs are met and contractual obligations are fulfilled.
  • Manage main contracts, including contractual notices and correspondence.
  • Prepare and issue subcontract documentation.
  • Assist in the management and performance of subcontractors.
  • Manage the preparation and agreement of applications for payment.
  • Prepare project cost and value reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Assist in the management and development of junior commercial staff.
  • Ensure continuous professional development through external networking, conferences, and associations.
  • Maintain a positive and solution-oriented approach to work, providing open and honest feedback.
  • Undertake additional duties, training, and hours of work as required.
  • Promote a professional image of the department and MWH Treatment, maintaining mutually constructive relationships.
  • Ensure confidentiality and data protection.
