Salary: Up to £40,000 + Company Van + Fuel Card

Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Overtime available after 42 hours) + On-call rota

Location: Regional travel

Job Summary

Randstad CPE is seeking a qualified and experienced Commercial Gas Engineer on behalf of our client to maintain and service various retail sites across the region.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Complete maintenance tasks within allocated timeframes.
  2. Specialise in commercial combustion, heating, and HVAC systems, handling both planned and reactive maintenance.
  3. Undertake other building services tasks, including fabric maintenance, HVAC, mechanical work, and related duties.
  4. Provide on-call support as part of the callout rota.
  5. Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of plant rooms, workshops, and storage areas.
  6. Carry out new installations and perform major and minor repairs to heating systems.
  7. Diagnose and repair faults in systems and equipment, including basic electrical fault-finding.
Essential Qualifications/Skills
  1. Experience in reactive maintenance.
  2. Core Safety Certification: COCN1
  3. Commercial Gas Certifications: TPCP1A, ICPN1, CORT1, CIGA1
Desirable Qualifications
  1. Domestic Gas Qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT1, CPA1, ICAE1.
  2. Competent installation skills.
  3. Valid UK Driving Licence (maximum of 6 points).
