We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to lead our Laundry and Sewing Room team at Raigmore Hospital. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in operating sewing machines, adjusting uniform dimensions, and repairing garments. As the Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the timely delivery of standard linen to Raigmore Hospital and community hospitals across the Highlands and Islands, maintaining a safe environment for patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Laundry and Sewing Room team to achieve operational excellence
  • Ensure the efficient operation of sewing machines and uniform production

Working Arrangements:

NHS Scotland is committed to providing a healthy work-life balance. As part of our efforts to reduce working hours, we are implementing a 37-hour working week from 1 April 2024, with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part-time staff. You may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period to accommodate the new working week.
