Financial Program Coordinator

Overview:

The Financial Program Coordinator plays a pivotal role in steering and overseeing finance-oriented initiatives to fruition. This position entails crafting project strategies, liaising with key stakeholders, and guaranteeing that initiatives are executed punctually and within financial constraints. The ideal candidate will possess substantial expertise in program oversight within a financial or accounting context, alongside a demonstrated history in managing portfolios and executing projects through diverse methodologies. Exceptional communication abilities, adeptness in project management tools, and the capability to oversee external suppliers are critical for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and uphold the Finance transformation agenda
  • Ensure comprehensive governance and oversight across all Group Finance transformation endeavors
  • Lead project teams and devise project strategies
  • Relay project progress, challenges, and risks to stakeholders
  • Identify, evaluate, and mitigate Finance transformation portfolio risks and challenges

Qualifications:

  • Significant experience in program management within finance/accounting
  • Proven success in steering finance-related initiatives
  • Familiarity with various project execution methodologies
  • Proficiency in project management applications and Microsoft tools
  • Experience in supervising external suppliers
  • Project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or ScrumMaster
