About the Role

We are seeking an ambitious Senior Civil Engineer to join our team at RGB Network. As a key member of our infrastructure development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing drainage systems, including stormwater management, sewer systems, and culverts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing designs and plans for drainage systems, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Preparing environmental impact assessments and adhering to relevant codes and standards.
  • Working and collaborating with Lead Local Flood Authorities (LLFAs) to ensure effective flood risk management.
  • Producing Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs) independently and designing and checking retaining walls, external works, and slab designs.
  • Managing and mentoring other engineers and technicians in the development of design and project information.
  • Leading on a wide range of projects involving client liaison, financial, and quality management.
  • Utilizing relevant drainage design software, including Microdrainage, Civils 3D, and AutoCAD.
Requirements
  • Minimum 4+ years' experience designing development infrastructure, particularly in drainage.
  • Experience on residential projects, particularly sustainable inner city developments, would be preferable.
  • Experience and knowledge of writing up Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs).
  • Experience working and collaborating with Lead Local Flood Authorities (LLFAs).
  • Management experience of other engineers and technicians over a range of projects on design development information is preferable but not essential.
  • A good technical background and grounding in the design of drainage, flood risk assessments (FRAs), retaining walls, external works, and bulk earthworks.
  • Experience of the following computer packages is essential: Microdrainage, Civils 3D, and AutoCAD for drainage networks.
