Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our breast care team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert care to patients with breast cancer, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive care to patients with breast cancer, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs and preferences.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  • Conduct regular reviews and assessments to monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Requirements

  • Registered General Nurse with valid NMC registration and no restrictions or conditions.
  • Hold an accredited SACT administration course.
  • Hold a Breast Care Certificate.
  • Previous experience in cancer care and services.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and IT skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
  • Compassionate, empathetic, and able to demonstrate excellent patient care.

Working Arrangements

Full-time position, Monday to Friday, with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
