About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Estimator to join our team at A.D.S Construction Personnel Ltd. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in delivering single and two-stage tenders on behalf of our client, a highly successful main contractor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop cost plans and budgets in alignment with the Bid Strategy, tailored for each construction project.
  • Collaborate with Surveying and Operational teams to formulate competitive tenders.
  • Engage with specialist contractors for competitive and precise costings.
  • Contribute to the constructability and value engineering discussions.
  • Offer guidance and mentorship to junior members of the Estimating team.
  • Generate or outsource Bills of Quantities as needed.
  • Participate in tender review and adjudication meetings.
  • Involvement in post-tender and tender interview meetings alongside senior team members.
Requirements
  • HNC/Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Capable of independently pricing jobs.
  • Would suit someone currently working as an Estimator, or a Quantity Surveyor looking to move into Estimating.
  • Residing within a commutable distance to Bedford.
