HOURS: 44 hours per week - Permanent Role
SALARY: £26,000 per year, with a realistic total earning potential of up to £30,000 per year

WHAT OUR TRADE COUNTER SALES ASSISTANTS DO:
- Our Trade Counter Sales Assistants are hands-on, lead by example, and work closely with the Branch Manager and Branch Supervisor in day-to-day branch operations
- They are responsible for trade counter sales to achieve sales targets, confidently communicating product knowledge to customers
- They provide exceptional customer service and support to new and existing customers
- They are responsible for picking, loading, and delivering products to customers via Eurocell's 3.5-tonne flatbed trucks and LWB vans
- They are responsible for route planning, safe driving, and keeping the Company vehicle clean
- They support the Branch Manager with actions and activities on time, in full
- They comply with Health and Safety, company policies, and procedures
- They ensure excellence in customer service, operational standards, and Branch sales targets are achieved
- They support the delivery of sales targets while developing and maintaining positive customer relationships
- They assist with the delivery of branch operations
- They provide support and assistance to Branch colleagues as required
- They maintain branch standards - including warehouse and stock management, front-of-house cleanliness, and point of sale
WHAT WE NEED FROM OUR TRADE COUNTER SALES ASSISTANTS:
- We need passionate and energetic individuals who can deliver exceptional customer service and achieve business targets
- We need a hands-on customer-focused approach, confident and happy to serve customers and proactively engage with potential future customers
- We need a commercial approach to drive sales and maximise margins, while ensuring our customers always walk away happy
- We need good organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and use own initiative
- We need confident IT users, with experience of MS Office and industry-standard software, such as SAP
- We need a full and valid driving license, and a FLT license could be a distinct advantage
- Previous branch stock take experience could be a distinct advantage
- We need individuals who are comfortable working in a small team and on occasion, alone
- Experience within a similar role, ideally in a trade/builders merchant/retail, glazing, or uPVC environment, could be a distinct advantage
