About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Shift Leader to join our team at Tesco. As a Shift Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our store, providing excellent customer service, and leading a team of colleagues to achieve our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the team to deliver a clean, well-stocked store that exceeds customer expectations
- Provide exceptional customer service, listening to customers and helping to resolve any issues
- Take ownership of running duty shifts, ensuring the store is operating efficiently and effectively
- Coach and develop colleagues to improve their skills and performance
- Lead by example, setting a high standard of behavior and performance for the team
- Monitor and analyze store performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to drive business growth
