Compensation:
£50,000 base salary + Overtime + Benefits Package
Work Schedule:
Rotating Days, Nights, and Weekends (35-hour work week)
The Resolute Group is collaborating with a prominent client in the Rail sector, recently awarded a long-term contract to oversee the Electrical assets in the designated region.
No prior railway experience is necessary; however, candidates must possess an Electrical qualification and demonstrated experience in team management.
Utilize your existing electrical expertise while receiving specialized training and support to enhance your career within the rail industry.
Successful applicants will play a vital role in maintaining and ensuring the reliability of essential rail infrastructure, contributing to the safe and efficient operation of Rail systems, including UPS, Signalling, Lighting, and Trackside infrastructure.
This position is an excellent opportunity for electrical supervisors or team leaders seeking to transition into a new field, including those from military backgrounds, domestic electricians, or maintenance engineers.
Maintenance:
Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on electrical systems, such as transformers, switchgear, and distribution boards.
Inspections:
Carry out regular inspections of electrical installations to detect faults, wear, and potential safety risks.
Troubleshooting:
Identify and resolve electrical issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted railway services.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure all tasks adhere to legislative standards, health and safety regulations, and relevant electrical codes.
Maintain precise records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs for compliance and reporting purposes.
Collaboration:
Work in close partnership with other technicians, engineers, and contractors to ensure the seamless integration of electrical systems with other railway infrastructure.
Qualifications:Electrical bias apprenticeship - NVQ level 3 or City & Guilds or equivalent
Driver's License:
Full Car or Motorbike license required due to the future on-call nature of the role.
Working Hours:
Engaging in a rotating schedule of days, nights, and weekends, working a 35-hour week.
