About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Director of Operations to lead our Catering Teams, focusing on delivering outstanding service across various regions. This position is integral to our Education division, dedicated to providing high-quality, nutritious, and sustainable food options for students.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership capabilities and the ability to drive results through their team. The role encompasses:

  • Fostering a culture of exceptional customer service within the community.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal and company standards within the designated area.
  • Creating opportunities for financial growth and consistently exceeding financial objectives.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with senior clients to enhance service delivery and competitive advantage.
  • Overseeing the Operations Management function within the area of responsibility.
  • Managing recruitment, training, and development of the operations team to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Collaborating with the sales team on site visits and presentations, ensuring operational feasibility of bids.

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Extensive experience in contract catering, particularly in a multi-site management role.
  • Experience in the education sector is advantageous.
  • A proven track record of leading and motivating diverse teams.
  • Strong client relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in financial management and P&L oversight.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of up to £70,000, along with a 15% performance-related bonus and a company car or allowance.
