We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical/Forensic or Counselling Psychologist to join our integrated Mental Health team at HMP Five Wells. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality psychological care to patients.
Key Responsibilities- Support the IMHT with assessment and interventions for complex patients, offering consultation/reflective practice to the team and clinical supervision to assistant psychologists.
- Undertake psychological assessments, supporting complex multi-disciplinary formulations and delivering psychological interventions for cases of great complexity.
- Utilize research skills for audit, policy, and service development and research within the area served by the team/service.
- Bespoke induction, including our Introducing Health in Justice training course.
- Competency framework.
- Regional and national career development opportunities.
- Our bespoke Learning Management System to address your learning needs.
- Support from the wider team.
- Satisfactory completion of a British Psychological Society accredited Doctoral Level postgraduate professional training course in clinical psychology.
- Assessed experience of working as a qualified clinical/forensic/counselling psychologist for a minimum of 3 years post-qualification.
- Experience of highly specialist psychological assessment and individual and group-based treatment of clients across the full range of care settings.
