Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at Meriden Media.

Key Responsibilities:

* As part of a skilled team, this role involves working to both plan and execute electrical maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.

* Collaborate with colleagues to identify and resolve electrical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.

* Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of electrical systems, equipment, and infrastructure to prevent faults and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

* Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules to minimize disruptions and optimize resource allocation.

* Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

* Work closely with the facilities team to ensure that all electrical systems and equipment are properly maintained and upgraded as needed.

* Participate in training and development programs to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in electrical maintenance.

Working Hours:

* 37 hours per week

* Monday to Thursday: 6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm

* Friday: 6am to 12:20pm, 12:20pm to 6:10pm

* Monday to Thursday: 10pm to 6am

* Friday: 6:40pm to 1am

Requirements:

* Proven experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in a similar industry or environment.

* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and safety regulations.

* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.

* Valid qualifications and certifications in electrical maintenance, such as City & Guilds or equivalent.

Salary:

* £36,937.32

* £37,700.32 after 12 weeks probation
