Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Construction Project Manager to lead our client's large NHS project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and a proven track record of delivering high-profile projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the delivery of the project, ensuring it is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Lead a small team of construction professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the project's success.
- Develop and implement effective project management strategies, including programming work schedules, monitoring building progress, and ensuring compliance with regulations and cost limitations.
- Manage site inductions, method statements, risk assessments, toolbox talks, and permits to work, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Coordinate logistics planning, plant and labor resources management, and progress meetings with the site team and subcontractors.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management, with a strong background in top-tier contractor projects.
- Proven track record of delivering projects with budgets ranging from £0.2 million to £5 million.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
- Strong technical and financial acumen, with a deep understanding of construction processes and regulations.
- Experience working on government-funded construction projects is highly desirable.
