We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Airbus Helicopters UK Ltd. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance within our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Perform internal audits on operations, maintenance, and continuing airworthiness to ensure compliance with EASA CAA regulations.
- Support the MFTS Quality Manager in Safety Management Systems activities and promote Airbus Safety and Just Culture ethos.
- Audit and report on performance in daily operations, applying corrective and preventative actions as necessary.
- Input data into Quality Department databases.
- Good working understanding of applicable aviation regulations and accreditations EASA.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Good report and procedure writing skills.
- Computer literacy, particularly in the use of MS Office.
- Knowledge of Safety Management Systems.
- Knowledge of UK Military Aviation Regulatory Articles.
- ISO 9001 Auditor or equivalent.
- Experience working in Military Aviation.
- Initial Human Factors certificate holder.
- Formalised EASA Part 145 and/or Part M training.
- Audits completed to audit schedule.
- Corrective/Preventative actions implemented to agreed timescales.
- Safety Management System Internal Reports submitted.
- DBS Security Clearance and eligibility for SC clearance.
- Awareness of potential compliance risks and commitment to act with integrity.
