Job Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Chief Engineer to lead our engineering functions within specific programs and projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver technical solutions that meet contract requirements, are on time, within budget, and adhere to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent the project engineering function for the execution of all aspects of programs/projects/bids relating to internal or external stakeholders.
  • Ensure that proposed technical solutions meet technical contract requirements and communicate across all relevant engineering disciplines.
  • Oversee adherence to internal processes for the development/certification of products at the engineering project level, including change management, configuration management, risk management, and quality management.
  • Deliver an integrated and overall solution for a system or sub-system, on time, within cost, and quality parameters.
  • Provide and manage project plans, engineering schedules, task definition, effort estimations, and risks/opportunities.
  • Coordinate technical development tasks, priorities, dependencies, and design reviews across all engineering disciplines with the support of a Systems Engineer.
  • Plan and execute engineering program/project activities within the agreed budget with the Program Manager.
  • Align demand for project engineering resources with the support of line managers.

Requirements:

  • At least years of experience developing programs/projects and certification aspects.
  • Strong skills in program execution, customer engagement, and team collaboration.
  • Experience in highly regulated environments, such as the aerospace or defense industry.
  • Experience with security classifications or similar regulations due to the nature of some programs being classified.
  • International experience in managing technical teams or leading technical solutions and execution.
  • Knowledge of multiple engineering disciplines to manage all development phases and challenge technical solutions.
