Harris Hill is excited to partner with a remarkable charitable organization to find a talented individual to oversee fundraising efforts across various dioceses. This role is pivotal in enhancing the charity's outreach and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate financial support for the organization by motivating individuals to contribute.
- Enhance public awareness regarding the charity's initiatives.
- Foster connections within educational institutions and the wider community by recruiting and managing local representatives and independent fundraising teams.
To excel in this position, candidates should possess:
- A comprehensive understanding of the Catholic faith and its teachings.
- Strong personal networks within the community, particularly with clergy and educational institutions.
- Experience in community fundraising or related fields is preferred.
- Exceptional communication and public speaking abilities.
- Proficient interpersonal skills, both in person and over the phone.
- Ability to communicate with sensitivity and clarity to benefactors and clergy.
- Meticulous attention to detail and proofreading capabilities.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Proven negotiation and relationship-building expertise.
- A valid driving license and access to a vehicle, with a willingness to travel as needed.
- Familiarity with fundraising databases, particularly The Raiser's Edge, is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with social media for professional purposes.
Compensation: £33,700 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent
