Job Responsibilities:


  • Help build and deliver APIs and infrastructure, including creating new applications from scratch.
  • Engineer in TypeScript on Node and deploy to AWS, primarily using serverless technologies like Lambda, DynamoDB, and API Gateway.
  • Design event-driven solutions that scale to millions of requests per day, leveraging tools like Datadog to monitor performance.
  • Build tools and best practices to make it easier for developers and customers.
  • Relish experimentation and try new techniques for quality improvement.
  • Get stuck in on prototypes and MVPs.


Requirements:


  • Experience as a Senior Software Engineer, including taking ownership and mentorship.
  • Expertise in modern web development frameworks and technologies, such as React, Node.js, TypeScript, serverless, and API Gateways, with a strong understanding of web architecture and design patterns.
  • Experience building REST or GraphQL services and considering how API choices impact clients.
  • You work best in small teams with great collaboration and energy.
