About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our team at Cygnet Sedgley House and Lodge in Wolverhampton. As an Assistant Psychologist, you will play a vital role in supporting the psychological care of clients, working closely with the Qualified Psychologist to deliver and evaluate effective services that meet Cygnet's Healthcare objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and enhance the psychological care of clients within Sedgley by assisting the Qualified Psychologist in the delivery and evaluation of effective services.
  • Administer, score, and report on psychometric assessments, standardized risk assessments, clinical formulation, and supervised individual and group interventions.
  • Work closely with the Qualified Psychologist to develop and implement treatment plans that meet the needs of clients.
  • Provide clinical supervision and support to colleagues as part of personal and professional development.
What We Offer

Cygnet Sedgley House and Lodge offers a 34-bed high dependency inpatient rehabilitation service for men with complex needs, as well as supporting 8 beds in our community step-down houses. We provide an environment that promotes mental health recovery by focusing on space, personal privacy, and dignity.
