Job Description

The Best Connection is seeking a skilled Production Operative to join our team in a well-established company that supplies the Automotive Industry.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and skilled individual to work in a fast-paced environment, responsible for the assembly of plastic car parts, quality checking of products, operating press machines, and labelling and packing of parts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble plastic car parts
  • Quality check products before passing to the next stage
  • Operate press machines
  • Work in a fast-paced environment
  • Label and pack parts
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures

Requirements:

  • Able to work shifts (days and nights)
  • Reliable
  • Good English (verbal and written) and ability to complete literacy and numeracy test
  • Previous experience in Production/Machine Operating an advantage
  • Able to commit to long-term work

Working Hours:

Rotating shifts, including days, nights, and split shifts. Must be able to commit to all three rotating shifts.

Pay Rates:

  • First 12 weeks: £12.00 per hour basic rate
  • Overtime paid at £16.80 per hour
  • After a qualifying period of 12 weeks: basic rate increases to £12.50 per hour
