Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst Apprentice to join our team at Cummins Inc. in a developmental position within the Business Segment Finance function.

About the Role:

As a Financial Analyst Apprentice, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing intercompany monthly netting runs for European entities, including cash application and bank reconciliations.
  • Executing intercompany month-end processes.
  • Conducting balance sheet reconciliations and resolving aged items in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring compliance with Sox documentation and maintaining work instructions in accordance with current processes and controls.
  • Meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and targets.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement projects within the team.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant accounting role.
  • Proficient IT and MS Office skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a proactive manner.
