About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Live In Personal Care Assistant to join our team at Active Care Group. As a Live In Personal Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our client who has muscular dystrophy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support our client with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Assist our client with her daily exercise regime and accompany her to swimming sessions.
  • Drive our client's automatic car, using a full UK driving licence.
  • Work on a flexible zero-hours contract, with regular assignments of 2 weeks.

Person Specification

  • UK driving licence.
  • Experience of working in a care or support role, with a can-do attitude and enthusiasm for learning.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills.
