Process Improvement Specialist

Job Summary:
The Process Improvement Engineer will play a key role in driving productivity and efficiency across our manufacturing operations. This individual will be responsible for analyzing current processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes to optimize production workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze performance reports to identify opportunities for waste reduction and process optimization.
- Develop and implement process improvements using lean methodologies and project management principles.
- Collaborate with production teams and functional departments to identify and prioritize improvement projects.
- Lead and facilitate root cause analysis, SIPOC, and DMAIC problem-solving projects.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of future productivity projects and support annual budget planning.
Requirements:
- Strong technical knowledge and analytical skills to analyze data and optimize manufacturing processes.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to apply technical knowledge in a consistent and methodical way to solve problems.
- Planning and project management skills to coordinate complex trials and data collection.
- Lean Six Sigma and DMAIC principles knowledge.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Engineering background and experience with PLC systems.
- LSS Kaizen Leader or above certification.
- Strong coaching and facilitation skills to influence behavior and identify training needs.
- Financial analysis skills and previous experience in the food industry.
