As a Chef de Partie at Avery Healthcare, you will play a vital role in leading a culinary team that provides a high-quality dining experience for our residents. Your focus will be on supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef to develop and implement a nutritionally balanced menu that meets the diverse needs of our residents.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with the culinary team to plan and prepare meals that are both delicious and nutritious
* Work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to develop and review the menu on a regular basis
* Support cost-effective stock control systems to minimize waste and ensure efficient use of resources
* Participate in meetings with residents and Heads of Departments to discuss catering functions and address special needs or dietary requirements
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess a catering qualification such as City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 or NVQ or equivalent. You will also hold a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate and have a minimum of 1-year catering experience. Additionally, you will demonstrate compassion and commitment to delivering high-quality culinary services to residents.
