Job Summary:

As a Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our pharmacy, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, and providing exceptional pharmaceutical care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the pharmacy team, including pharmacy technicians and support staff, to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services.
  • Oversee inventory management, including ordering, stock rotation, and expiry date monitoring, to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty, including providing clinical services such as vaccinations and health screenings.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and community organizations to promote health and wellness initiatives and improve patient outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, including NHS standards and pharmacy best practices.

Requirements:

  • GPHC Registered Pharmacist with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a community pharmacy setting.
  • Proven track record of managing a pharmacy team and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Accreditation in Pharmacy First and vaccinations.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.

Package and Benefits:

  • Hourly rate of £27 per hour.
  • Ideal working hours: 4 days per week, with a minimum of 1 in 4 Saturdays per month.
  • Pharmacy first services: £3 per service.
  • Flu jab services: £1 per service.
  • Annual total earnings up to £75,000.
