Job Title: Mechanical Supervisor

Streamline Services Consultancy Limited is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Supervisor to join our team. As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects, working closely with the Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and execute projects to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Project Manager in planning and coordinating projects, including creating schedules and managing budgets.
  • Support the Project Manager in drafting RAMS (Risk Assessment and Method Statement) for various jobs.
  • Contribute to the development of project programmes and provide on-the-job training and mentorship to junior staff.
  • Manage and track materials, including ordering, overseeing deliveries, and ensuring their efficient use.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising safety or quality.
  • Mediate team conflicts and ensure a harmonious work environment.
  • Escalate critical issues to the Project Manager.
  • Oversee the daily management of operatives, including sub-contractors.
  • Issue and manage permits when required.
  • Report daily to the Project Manager.
  • Inspect and assess work throughout the project and upon completion.
  • Ensure project deadlines are met.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues that arise during the project.
  • Collaborate with the team to solve technical challenges.
