Job Summary
A talented Control Systems Engineer is sought by Automation Experts to join their dynamic team. The company is a leading provider of high-speed automation solutions for the food and beverage sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute significantly to the development of next-generation automation machines
- Create and test PLC and HMI/SCADA software applications primarily using Siemens TIA
- Prepare design documentation including, I/O lists, FDS, SDI, SDS, FAT/SAT Test documents
- Commission projects on customer sites in both the UK and abroad
- Provide technical support to the sales, proposal, project and design teams
- Ensure relevant software design documents are issued
- Communicate project status effectively to the Control Systems Manager, customers and suppliers
Requirements
- Have experience in the software design of industrial automation
- Be proficient in the use of Rockwell and Siemens programming platforms
- Have experience of working in an innovative environment
- Have knowledge of British and international standards relative to the design and installation of industrial automation systems
- Be commercially aware of the effective use of resources, scope change and implications of choice
- Have experience evaluating technical requirements and providing viable solutions
