About the Role

The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled Radiologist Consultant to join our team in the Gynaecology department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality radiology services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting of general radiographic examinations for inpatient and outpatient populations
  • Development and maintenance of advanced clinical skills in Urology
  • Participation in the general on-call rota and covering of annual and study leave
  • Organisation and administration of the Radiology Department
  • Teaching and training of junior Radiology staff
  • Delivery of clinical and quality targets agreed with clinical teams and commissioners
Requirements
  • MBBS, MBChB or equivalent medical qualification
  • GMC Specialist Registration in Specialty or eligibility for entry onto the Specialist Register within 6 months of obtaining CCT
  • Full Registration and a licence to practise with the General Medical Council (GMC)
  • Entry on the General Medical Council (GMC) Specialist Register via Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration (CESR)
  • Evidence of commitment to Clinical Audit and Research
  • Clinical training equivalent to that required for gaining UK CCT in Clinical Radiology
