About the Role

Irise International is seeking a dedicated and passionate Treasurer to join our Board of Trustees. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in guiding our organization through its next phase of growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide strategic financial leadership and guidance to the Board of Trustees and CEO.
  2. Oversee the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
  3. Monitor and report on the charity's financial performance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  4. Advise on all financial matters, including budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.
  5. Collaborate with the CEO and other Trustees to develop and implement the charity's strategic plan.
  6. Represent the charity at external events and meetings, promoting our mission and values.
Person Specification

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Treasurer who can bring a strong understanding of financial governance and management to our organization. The ideal candidate will have:

  1. Proven experience in financial management, preferably in a charity or non-profit setting.
  2. Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
