Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a small team of service engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Oversee service operations, ensuring effective scheduling and resource allocation to maximize team efficiency.
- Engage with clients in food factory environments, leveraging your expertise to address their needs and enhance service turnover.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and collaborate with the sales team on potential upgrades and refurbishments.
- Conduct team training and induction, ensuring all members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
- Prepare Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Perform site inspections and maintain service inventory to uphold operational standards.
- Conduct regular performance appraisals for team members, providing constructive feedback and support.
Qualifications:
- Mechanically biased with a solid understanding of electrical systems.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a technical service environment.
- IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent health and safety qualification is preferred.
- Full UK driving license is essential.
