Job Title: Quality Systems Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Quality Systems Coordinator to join our team at International Flavors & Fragrances. As a key member of the Quality team, you will be responsible for leading the internal audit program, ensuring compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). You will also be responsible for maintaining and reviewing the schedule and action log, completing regular audits, and ensuring all standards in the company's HACCP and Quality Systems are adhered to.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deputize for the Technical Manager as required.
  • Lead the internal audit program, maintaining and reviewing the schedule and action log.
  • Ensure compliance with the QMS and GMP.
  • Ensure all standards in the company's HACCP and Quality Systems are adhered to.
  • Site lead for documents control.
  • Keep abreast of current regulations pertinent to the business.
  • Raise, review, and close out non-conformances.
  • Conduct risk assessments on processes, aligning business need with quality requirements.
  • Approve and review raw materials and suppliers.
  • Lead by example and encourage Good Manufacturing & Hygiene practices throughout the site.
  • Participate in all quality meetings, such as HACCP reviews.
  • Assist with all external audits, such as BRC, customer, and EHO.

Requirements:

  • A self-starter who can manage ambiguity and 'hit the ground running.'
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Tenacious character, liaising with colleagues to obtain and chase up information required.
  • Team player, working with a cross-functional team to deliver benefits to the business.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meeting internal deadlines and the ability to problem-solve.
  • Internal audit experience essential, with the ability to identify improvements and implement them.
  • Well-versed with the BRC food safety standard.
