Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced In-House Solicitor to join our dedicated legal team at a leading healthcare company. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for handling a varied portfolio of legal matters, including medical malpractice claims, contract drafting, and regulatory matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work as part of the in-house legal team to handle a diverse range of legal matters, including medical malpractice claims, contract drafting, and regulatory matters.
- Act as Panel Solicitor, managing discussions with insurers, Solicitor firms, and party litigants.
- Manage an individual pre-litigated and litigated caseload with minimal supervision.
- Provide succinct advice/reports and obtain instructions from key stakeholders, including Board members and insurers.
Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor with either In-House Experience and/or a solid understanding of medical malpractice/personal injury litigation.
- Experience of autonomously managing an individual caseload, and also working well as part of a team.
- Strong commercial awareness and knowledge of business needs with a willingness to research and advise on all areas of law.
- Excellent IT and administrative skills.
