Job Title: Financial Planning Analyst

Join Halfords Group plc, a leading consumer and B2B services-focused business, as a Financial Planning Analyst. This exciting role is part of the Finance team, which plays a crucial role in the company's success.

About the Role:

As a Financial Planning Analyst, you will be responsible for providing accurate, data-based information and KPIs on the company's sales and financial performance. You will analyze financial information across the group to assist in making well-informed decisions. You will also help to develop and transform the financial planning and reporting environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain financial models and reports using Power BI, Databricks, and Excel.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to implement best practices for data management, security, and governance.
  • Work with the FP&A manager to develop accurate, timely, and user-friendly reports.
  • Assist in the development of training programs to upskill stakeholders and drive process improvements.
Requirements:
  • Part Qualified studying towards either CIMA/ACCA/ACA.
  • Curious attitude and confident self-starter with a desire to continuously develop self and drive business forward.
  • Comfortable with large quantities of data, financial modelling, and analysis of complex data to inform commercial decision making.
  • Absolute commitment to quality with a high attention to detail.
  • Willingness and enthusiasm to progress and succeed within the business.
