HGV 1 Driver Position

We are seeking a skilled HGV 1 Driver to join our team at Ashton Recruitment. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering goods safely and efficiently to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Load vehicles for deliveries, ensuring health and safety regulations are adhered to.
- Use tracking procedures at all times to ensure accurate delivery and collection.
- Maintain driving hours rules and regulations, including tachographs and Working Time Directives.
- Complete paperwork, including delivery notes and signatures.
- Provide high-level customer service, aiming to exceed customer expectations.
- Valid UK Clean category C+E driving licence.
- Minimum of 1 year experience as an HGV 1 driver.
- Valid CPC and digital tachograph.
- Customer-focused approach.
- Basic level of education.
- Previous experience in strapping and chaining loads.
