Retail Events Consultant

Fusion 2K Ltd is seeking a highly organized and enthusiastic Retail Events Consultant to join our team on a full-time basis for a fixed term of 18 months. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing large and small-scale events, ensuring seamless execution and exceeding client expectations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, catering, and audio-visual requirements.
  • Manage event staff, including briefing and training, to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Process high-volume sales orders and enquiries, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, external parties, and suppliers to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Proactively manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to enquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with the events team to develop and implement event strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Contribute to the development of event concepts, proposals, and presentations, showcasing your creativity and attention to detail.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 12 months administration/office experience, with a strong background in event coordination or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Full UK driving license with no more than 6 points on license.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience working with KPIs and managing event budgets.
  • Knowledge of event software and technology, including ticketing systems and event management platforms.
