Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Loch Duart. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment and plant to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
- Respond promptly to equipment failures, diagnose issues, and implement effective repairs to minimize downtime.
- Manage and maintain an inventory of critical spare parts, ordering replacements as needed to ensure business continuity.
- Collaborate with external contractors to plan and execute repairs and installations, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Conduct regular site security and yard maintenance to maintain a safe and secure work environment.
- Monitor and maintain the site's effluent treatment installation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
Requirements and Experience:
- Proven experience working as an Engineer in a fast-paced, manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong technical knowledge and skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on safety and quality.
