Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operational Lead to join our team at Valeo Foods UK. As a key member of our production management team, you will be responsible for coordinating daily activities, ensuring quality control, and implementing effective checks and balances to maintain high standards of output.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily tasks and delegate responsibilities to team members
  • Ensure start-up checks are conducted and escalate any issues to the Team Leader/Production Manager
  • Verify that components are available and set-up requirements are in place
  • Ensure all team members understand their roles and responsibilities, including product quality and colleague safety
  • Support new colleagues in integrating into the team, area orientation, and learning the job
Requirements
  • Numerical ability to record, analyze, and interpret data
  • Technical knowledge of GMP and operation of line machinery
  • Food Safety Level 2 certification
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • IOSH Managing Safely certification
  • Fluency in English language (oral and written)
  • Ability to work quickly and multitask
  • Able to coach and train others
Desirable Experience
  • FMCG manufacturing experience
  • Demonstrable knowledge of delegating work to others on a daily/weekly basis
  • Experience of coaching and training others
