Position Overview

As a Principal Engineer in Subsea Systems, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our capabilities in the energy sector. Our company is a renowned global provider of professional services, specializing in energy, chemicals, and resources.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Integrating essential information into subsea system development, including hardware such as subsea trees and manifolds.
  • Contributing to the creation of comprehensive reports, philosophies, and specifications throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Engaging in procurement, installation, and pre-commissioning activities from initial project concepts to final implementation.
  • Supporting proposals, tenders, and bid clarifications while promoting innovative design methodologies and technologies.
  • Facilitating client interactions, leading key meetings, and steering discussions on subsea development.
  • Identifying flow requirements and determining subsea systems from the Christmas Tree to the delivery point, including controls definitions.
Technical Review and Assessment

You will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing and providing feedback on Subsea Controls, Instrumentation, and Equipment & Systems documentation at various project phases (Pre-FEED, FEED, Detailed Design).
  • Evaluating the feasibility of modifications and tie-ins to existing infrastructure, including MEG and chemical distribution.
  • Participating in project workshops and design reviews, and leading HAZOP and constructability assessments.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor of Science Degree in an engineering discipline.
  • A comprehensive understanding of subsea engineering principles.
  • Expertise in the processes involved in developing subsea fields through various project phases.
