Job Description

Project Manager

This is a long-term, ongoing temporary role with a rolling end date.

You must be able to speak both English and French, therefore, please ensure that you have included these languages in your CV for screening purposes.

Remote work with occasional Senior Leadership Team meetings in Europe.

We will employ you on a temporary contract via our designated agency partner or as a contractor via your own limited company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement the program in compliance with deadlines, quality, and costs.
  • Bring together all aspects of an expansion project.
  • Coordinate all teams and information flows to report on project progress.

Day-to-Day Activities:

  • Project management, reporting to the Senior Leadership Team, stakeholder management, weekly reporting, identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Coordinate between program workstreams, including fleet built, plant adaptations, commercial, and finance.
  • Support workstream leaders.
  • Monitor toll gates and finances through stakeholder consultation.
  • Ensure the program is delivered on time, to quality, and cost.
  • Supervise and coordinate third parties and suppliers.
  • Ensure the supply chain and supporting services are in place and ready for service delivery by completion of program milestones.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs and reporting.
  • Report to the program governors and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, and legislative requirements.
  • Be responsible for the proper execution of the entire investment program.
  • Identify, mitigate, and manage project risks and opportunities.
  • Keep leadership up to date.
  • Challenge to understand current status.
  • Be visible to the teams at all times.
  • Plan and stick to a communication program.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work in collaboration with the Senior Leadership Team, Service Centers, Finance, HR, and Sales.
  • Build working relationships with local authorities and suppliers around Europe.

Qualifications:

  • Background in engineering or science-related projects.
  • Project Management experience that includes expansion projects.
  • Excellent IT tools, especially Google suite savvy.
  • Strong experience in managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Significant experience in the management of project budgets and expenditure.
  • Proven experience of working with and managing third parties and suppliers, including contracting and performance maintenance.
  • Fluent English and French.
  • Able to communicate with multiple stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Networking (internal and external).
  • Ability to partner with and influence senior management.
