About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the Caterham Minor Injuries Unit. As an autonomous practitioner, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with minor injuries and illnesses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Treat patients with minor injuries and illnesses, using your clinical expertise to provide high-quality care.
  • Assess and diagnose patients, using your knowledge of minor injury and illness assessment and treatment.
  • Work autonomously, using your leadership skills to manage junior staff and make decisions about patient care.
  • Be flexible in your working patterns, including shifts and on-call duties.
  • Contribute to the development of high-quality evidence-based practice, and ensure the maintenance of high standards of nursing care.

Person Specification

We are looking for an individual with the following skills and qualifications:

  • Registered First Level Nurse or Paramedic qualification.
  • Current NMC or HCPC registration.
  • Emergency Nurse Practitioner qualification or Paramedic Practitioner qualification.
  • ENB 998 or equivalent.
  • Demonstrates clear evidence of ongoing professional development.
