Veterinary Surgeon Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Veterinary Surgeon to join our team in Whitchurch, Shropshire.

The ideal candidate will be RCVS registered, competent in all routine surgeries, and enthusiastic about promoting and building our practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide exceptional customer care and service to clients.
  2. Write up cases in full, monitor hospitalised patients, and communicate information to the nursing staff.
  3. Inform clients of test results and update on progress after treatment.
  4. Present a professional approach and smart appearance at all times.
  5. Record all patient information, treatment, diagnostic reports, and charges into the PMS.
  6. Understand and comply with legal obligations in relation to prescription safe keeping and supply of Veterinary medicinal products.
  7. Maintain personal CPD as per RCVS guidelines.

Our Practice:

We are a friendly team of 7 Veterinary Surgeons, 8 Registered Veterinary Nurses, and 6 experienced Receptionists and administrators. We offer a supportive and fun work environment.

What We Offer:

Salary up to £63,000 DOE for the full-time role, a new large modern building with a friendly atmosphere, and a short walk to the train station.
