Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer
Location: Nationwide

Future Select Recruitment is seeking a skilled Water Hygiene Engineer to join our client's team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out various L8 compliance duties, including water sampling, temperature monitoring, and TMV servicing & failsafe testing. This role requires a strong understanding of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines and the ability to work independently on Commercial, Industrial, and Educational sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct water sampling and temperature monitoring to ensure compliance with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
  2. Perform TMV servicing and failsafe testing to ensure the safety of water systems.
  3. Carry out CWST cleans and disinfections to maintain water quality.
  4. Routine showerhead cleans and descales to prevent waterborne pathogens.
  5. Calorifier blowdowns to remove sediment and prevent corrosion.
  6. Closed system sampling & analysis to identify potential risks.
  7. Dosing closed systems with correct chemicals to maintain water quality.
  8. Ensure all work is carried out in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
  9. Update onsite logbooks accurately upon completion of work.

Requirements:

  1. Hands-on experience as a Water Hygiene Engineer for an established Water Hygiene / Legionella Management company.
  2. Extensive knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
  3. Good IT skills, able to update onsite logbooks.
  4. Good communication skills.
  5. Excellent time management skills.
