Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Fabric and General Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Accor Hotels. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall maintenance of our hotel facilities, including guest rooms, public areas, and mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the hotel remains in good working condition, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
  • Respond to guest room calls in a timely manner to address general maintenance issues, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, internet, and TV issues.
  • Maintain all brand and quality luxury service standards by providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that all maintenance tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Act as a member of the Emergency Response Team and respond to emergencies, including fires, accidents, and safety concerns.
  • Conduct routine preventative maintenance on all equipment and guest rooms to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
  • Assist guests with hotel facilities and provide information on hotel services and amenities.
  • Follow department policies, procedures, and service standards to ensure consistency and quality in all maintenance tasks.
  • Participate in daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual preventative maintenance projects to ensure that all equipment and systems are properly maintained.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a maintenance role required.
  • Must have electrical, plumbing, and basic maintenance skills and be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office applications required.
  • EPA certification preferred and certified refrigeration and HVAC mechanic an asset.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and technical manuals.
