About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Supervisor to join our team at Gov Facility Services Ltd (GFSL). As an Electrical Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of our facilities, including HMP Cookham Wood.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate electrical maintenance activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Lead a team of electrical technicians and engineers to deliver high-quality maintenance services.
  • Develop and implement electrical maintenance plans to minimize downtime and optimize resource utilization.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of electrical services with other facility operations.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols and report any incidents or near-misses.
Requirements
  • Electrician qualified to C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) and NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent.
  • Certificate in BS7671 - The Requirements For Electrical Installations, 17th or 18th Edition.
  • Proven experience in electrical maintenance and supervision, preferably in a similar industry or sector.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
