Academic Support Officer

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Academic Office Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our centres, providing exceptional customer care, and maintaining a safe and secure environment for our learners and staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Security Duties: Ensure the security of our centres, including being a secure key holder, and maintaining access control systems.
- Customer Care & Support: Provide exceptional customer care to our learners and staff, ensuring that they receive the best possible service and support.
- Facilities Duties: Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of our centres, including the internal and external grounds, and ensure that all facilities and services are fully functional and available for use.
- Repairs: Carry out regular maintenance checks, complete minor repairs, and ensure that all repairs are completed to a satisfactory standard.
- Health and Safety: Ensure that our centres are safe and meet the needs of all visitors, centre users, and staff, including those with disabilities.
Requirements: We are looking for someone with a current, valid driving licence, first aid qualification, and the ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
Aptitude: We require someone with excellent communication skills, the ability to deal with sensitive issues, and a commitment to maintaining the welfare of our learners, particularly vulnerable adults.
Skills: We are looking for someone with strong attention to detail, the ability to work effectively within a team, and excellent interpersonal skills.
