About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Operator to join our vibrant manufacturing team at Tropic Skincare. As a key member of our production team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and high-quality manufacture of our award-winning skincare products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manufacture a wide range of skincare products using various machinery, including large vessels and spectrophotometers.
  • Analyse raw materials and finished products to guarantee accuracy and quality.
  • Maintain our Tropic Skincare standards and specifications, ensuring every product meets our high standards.
  • Work closely with chemists, engineers, and production teams to experiment with new combinations and troubleshoot.
  • Adhere to all safe working practices and ensure the team follows Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Manage the flow of products and materials, ensuring efficient production processes.
  • Collect batch materials from the weighing team and manage the movement of finished batches to the production teams.
  • Responsible for ensuring the department is cleaned and sanitised suitably and sufficiently.
  • Waste management.
Requirements
  • At least years' experience using manufacturing equipment at a machine operator level.
  • Previous experience of working in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
  • A systematic and determined approach.
  • Results-focused with a keen eye for detail and a natural curiosity about science.
  • A strong communicator with an analytical mindset who enjoys collaboration, and problem-solving.
  • Excellent time management skills.
