About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Emergency Care Specialist to provide high-quality care and transportation to patients in emergency situations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure a continuous duty of care to patients, maintaining an appropriate level of monitoring and treatment.
- Provide clear handover reports to other healthcare professionals, recording all pertinent patient information.
- Drive approved ambulance vehicles under normal and blue light circumstances, adhering to service standards and road traffic law.
- Conduct general vehicle checks to ensure readiness for each shift.
- Maintain a working knowledge of medical and life support equipment, assisting qualified practitioners as needed.
- Support qualified practitioners in providing high-quality care and transportation.
- Gather and report relevant information from carers or others at emergency scenes.

Person Specification:
Essential Qualifications:
- FREC Level 3 and FREC Level 4
- Recognised blue light qualification (e.g. IHCD / Level 3 Emergency Response Ambulance Driving)
- Full UK Clean Driving Licence with a minimum of 2 years experience
